Computer Apps Google Searching

Google searching has helped me drastically in searching for topics for homework.  Yesterday I needed to know who said a certain quote.  I typed in the quote at first with no quotations and didn't get the results I wanted.  I then added quotations into the query at the beginning and end of the quote and the first thing that popped up was the quotation and the person who said it (Karl Marx).
