Current Event Article

I recently read the article, “Samsung with the first flexible phone” Samsung recently presented their new malleable phone (Samsung Galaxy Skin) with an asking price of $900.  It represents the previous model, Galaxy Note 3 (a larger scale of the Samsung Galaxy S3).  The company, which was joined by LG in making a firm announcement about flexi-screen tech earlier today, has been touting bendy phones as concept devices at trade shows for years.  Curved screens use a plastic substrate rather than glass, so can be designed to be curved rather than flat. Concept designs, include the bending screen at about 45 degrees around the bezel at the bottom, effectively increasing the overall screen size.

I think this is a great invention.  Many people would need this virtually “unbreakable” phone especially teens like me.  We are somewhat forced to buy these really expensive cases that cost anywhere from $50-$100.  Plus a broken screen can cost hundreds of dollars to repair.  In the long run, the new Samsung flexible phone, will save you cash over years.
