Surveys in the Real World

Many companies and businesses use surveys for success.  They gather opinions of their customers so they can distribute the best products.  I have a taken a survey before.  It was a survey in business class last year about personal preferences of food.  For example one question might be Coke or Pepsi, or McDonalds or Burger King.  It was an online survey on google docs.
